It's been quite a few months since I had a chance to test my equipment. I was out sick for a month recently and I miss one of the few clear nights in many weeks. Yet, I could let tonight pass, so I finish my Polar Alignment using pempro and I'm at 0.1 arc/sec on azimuth and altitude from the North celestial pole.
Also, I created a new PEC curve using Pempro too with 7 worm cycles. It took about 1hr and 30 min. to complete. So, I'm tracking using sideral+pec plus autoguiding and I just made my ever first 10min sub (no flats, no darks, no bias) of the East Sky.
Mount: HEQ5 Pro
Subs: 1 x 10min
Guider: ST80 + SSAG (RA RMS= 0.1; DEC RMS=0.3)
Main Scope: WO Lomo FL=480mm + TV Reducer/Flattener 0.85x (Aprox. FL=320mm)
Main Camera: QHY9M + LPS
Chip Temp: -15C
Location: Portland Downtown
I love this shot. The depth of the stars and it's one of the reasons why I got into Astrophotography in the first place. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.
