Ok, haven't been able to observe this week but I thought I would throw up an entry because it was, indeed, an "astronomical" Father's Day.  The family got me three eyepieces to round out my collection!  They are Orion Stratus in 8mm, 17mm and 21mm focal lengths.   With my 13mm the only other one I would consider is the 25mm but that's so close to what I have I don't know that it would be worth it.

Also, there is a t-connector for a camera that is threaded directly into the 21mm.  This will make things easy when I finally get a camera but that's a ways off yet.  I'll be ordering a replacement rubber piece for eye relief and two caps for the 17 and 21mm ASAP.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to clear skies and will likely find some when we go to Colorado.  We're leaving Saturday and yes, I'm taking the scope :-D

Happy Father's Day!!

Hi Neil,

Would love to give an update but we've been clouded out. Tonight is looking promising so I'm hoping to have something to report.
