Tuesday night 2/1/11:
Wow, a rare clear and transparent night. I got my imaging gear all set up early, and was ready to polar align the scope. Before doing that, I decided to get my laptop and camera wired up and ready to go, only to find that my T-ring adapter for the camera was among the missing, and nowhere to be found. (I have moved since my last imaging session). My friend Neil loaned me a replacement, but but the time I got to his house it was after 10pm and bitterly cold. We did some visual observing but ended up going home and going to bed. The story of my life: a day late and a dollar short.
Hopefully there will be another clear night soon. I haven't done any deep sky imaging since late September. I am going to forget how pretty soon.
I hope you all had better fortunes.
