I hope everyone will forgive me belaboring the data I collected on M31. This image is a total of 55 minutes
. I am not sure if I hurt it or helped it by adding the extra time, as well as playing around with the processing in Photo Shop.......the core is a little more burned out, but I picked up some more of the spiral structure around M32. As I go through these exercises, I am learning more about the effects various adjustments make.....some good some not so good. It's hard to achieve just the right balance....and I suppose the 'right balance' is in the eye of the beholder.
Now, I am more eager than ever to try this object again, on a clear, dark, moonless night, or from a dark sky site, away from all the neighborhood lights.
